Here’s All The “And Just Like That” Filming Locations

The OG’s are back with vengeance And Just Like That… we have a highly anticipated reboot!

The Sex and The City reboot stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reprising their iconic roles to fit the new normal that is 2021 in And Just Like That. The ladies’ roles are the fabulous former columnist Carrie Bradshaw, the funny and loyal retired lawyer Miranda Hobbs and the perfectionist with a heart of gold Charlotte York. The series also stars some familiar faces from the original series, such as Chris North as the one and only Mr. Big, Mario Cantone as the sassy Anthony Marentino and late Willie Garson as fashion maverick Stanford Blatch. Alongside them are new faces to the franchise such as Sara Ramirez as non-binary badass comedian Che Diaz, Nicole Ari Parker as newest supermom Lisa Todd Wexley (or “LTW” as Charlotte calls her), Karen Pittman as Dr. Nya Wallace, Cathy Ang and Alexa Swinton as Charlotte and Harry’s daughters Lily and Rose, and Niall Cunningham as Brady Hobbs, Miranda and Steve’s son.

The storyline in And Just Like That takes place back in post-pandemic New York City with the majority of the original cast playing older versions of their characters. Audiences get insight of what the beloved ensemble are doing in this new age of social media, while also experiencing life in their 50’s. And trust, it gets (good) interesting…

Even though there are only a few episodes available on HBO Max currently, these are places that can be seen in And Just Like That.

Whitney Café

In the first episode of And Just Like That… we meet Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte at “Clee,” but since Clee doesn’t exist, we’ll have to settle for brunch at the Whitney Café. The Whitney Museum of Art is home to the fabulous café that was actually featured in the episode, located on 99 Gansevoort Street. Formally known as “Untitled,” the grab-and-go spot is an ideal place to have a meeting, grab a coffee or catch up with good friends. It is accessible to both museum visitors and the general public.

Smith’s Bar

It’s 5 o’ clock somewhere! Smith’s Bar made a cameo in the first episode as well. Talk about history, this bar is one of the last remnants of old Times Square. Located on 701 8^th Ave has lived near Times Square for 60 years. Fun Fact (sort-of): It closed briefly in 2014, but it was brought back to life by Hayden Panettiere’s dad, Skip in 2015. The vintage bar has been lively ever since.

Lyceum Theatre

Located in Midtown Manhattan and featured in the first episode is the Lyceum Theatre. The Lyceum is the oldest, operational theatre on Broadway. It features sections for the orchestra, mezzanine and balcony views of the stage. The theatre offers patrons options for assisted listening for every performance, which could have served Steve during Lily’s showcase. This theatre posed as the Manhattan School of Music in And Just Like That.

Carrie’s Apartment

Of course, the original apartment that started it all had to be included in the reboot. According to Parade, production made a pit stop at the iconic brownstone for a couple of scenes with SJP and a mystery guy. In honor of 23 years of the show, the apartment was available to book on Airbnb on November 8^th, which included access to Carrie’s closet!

Bethesda Terrace

This popular tourist attraction makes a cameo as well. Bethesda Terrace and Fountain is located in the heart of Central Park. This iconic location has been featured in shows and movies, such as Enchanted, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Ransom, Elf and the original Gossip Girl. The park hosts several guided tours and breathtaking discovery walks year-round. The park also features 21 playgrounds for children.

Webster Hall

Located in the East Village near Astor Place is the iconic concert venue-slash-nightclub Webster Hall. This event venue has hosted many legends such as B.B. King, Tina Turner, Prince, Guns N’ Roses and many more. According to Parade, Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda are planning on making an appearance at Che’s comedy show in the series. Sounds like a really fun night for the trio, right?

Dante West Village

Located on 551 Hudson Street, is this elegant seafood oasis of a restaurant. Just to be clear, Dante West Village is the little sister of the Greenwich Village OG. This restaurant is expanding in its notoriety and becoming a hotspot for seafood lovers. And Just Like That is said to be making an appearance in the show for a potential date night.

The East Pole

Serving up memories for Carrie is The East Pole restaurant. This farm-to-table gem is located on 133 E 65^th Street, just above a landmark brownstone on the Upper East Side. Trust that you’ve never seen farm-to-table so elegantly executed. Dine on cuisine by New York celebrated chef, Joseph Capozzi and make some memories.
