NO excuses!

Halle Berry is having a magical time in Morocco, but more importantly, the actress even sent in her absentee ballot for the midterm election from the Sahara Desert.

Berry is in Morocco to film thriller franchise, John Wick 3, with co-star Keanu Reeves. The two have been posting on social media, sharing their time in Essaouira and the Sahara Desert. The crew arrived in Morocco in August and will continue shooting there until December.

Sahara Desert is the largest hot desert in the world, comparable to the size of China or the U.S. It comprises a large part of North Africa, stretches from the Red Sea in the east and the Mediterranean in the north to the Atlantic Ocean in the west.

The word Sahara means “desert” in Arabic. The best time to visit there is either May or October when the temperature during the day is tolerable and milder. During December and January, the temperature will drop dramatically to freezing at night. Sandstorms occur often during January and May, while summer months are incredibly hot to visit there.

Looks like Halle and crew are catching the desert life right on time!
