All The Filming Locations For 365 Days: This Day

Turns out, being the wife of a rich Mafia man in 365 Days has some caveats to the title.

The sexy Netflix sequel stars Anna Maria Sieklucka as the feisty Polish Mafia wife Laura and Michele Morrone as Mafia Don Massimo. The film also stars Magdalena Lamparska as Laura’s Polish bestie Olga, Otar Saralidze as Massimo’s right hand man Domenico, Ewa Kasprzyk as Laura’s protective mom Karla, Dariusz Jakubowski as Laura’s father Tomasz, Simone Susinna as the “gardener” Nacho, and Natasza Urbanska as the conniving antagonistic Anna.

The basis of the sequel is that the now married Massimo and Laura are finding their way as a couple, post devastating accident that the first movie left off at. (Slight spoiler: the accident that viewers still don’t get answers to what exactly happened in that tunnel!) Both are keeping some details of their past close to their chests, which we also see a lot of in this film.

SNATCHING UP SPOILERS…

The majority of the 365 Days franchise is set to take place in Poland and Italy.

Mazowieckie, Poland 

This Day begins with a wedding: Massimo and Laura’s, which was held in a Polish church in Mazowieckie. While the exact location of the church is still unknown, we were given great drone shots of the Polish province. This province is located in central-eastern Poland and shares borders with six different provinces. Mazowieckie is lined with meadows and forests along with vibrant villages and towns that make it a prime tourist destination.

Old Town, Warsaw, Poland 

The couple quickly left their family and relatives to go officially consummate their marriage. They most likely drove through Old Town, Warsaw. This town’s history dates to the 13th century. The drone views of Old Town were lined with stunning tenement houses, as well as their lovely market square with a multitude of different restaurants and eateries.

SICILY, ITALY

The newly-weds returned home to Sicily, Italy, where they were met with a surprise on their dining table. Not the position you’d want to see your house-sitter in. Sicily, however, is filled with so many seductive landscapes; Everything from soft white sand beaches and 77 different nature reserves to Mediterranean cuisine on the largest Mediterranean island and grand cathedrals. Yet another tourist playground, especially when traveling with friends.

BIDDEROSA, SARDINIA 

After being kidnapped for the third time (because that’s what Laura is apparently known for now), she makes friends with her kidnapper, Nacho, the “gardener” with two very luxurious beach front safehouses. Laura and Nacho were seen doing quite a few water sports in Bidderosa. This quiet seascape was the perfect oasis for any surfer who enjoys living on the beach. Between the rolling greenery, budding sea flowers, and clear waters that stretch for miles, it is the perfect place for a beach date.

Monastery Of San Nicolò l’Arena

The final stand-off of the film was at the Monastery of San Nicolo l’Arena and there were more than a few physical and emotional casualties. This jaw-dropping Sicilian Baroque jewel is among the largest monasteries in Europe. It is home to the Department of Humanities for the University of Catania and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
