There is no better way to celebrate the holidays than by visiting Hyde Park in London. Between November 22nd and January 5th, tourists and locals alike can celebrate the seasonal festivities through multiple daytime and nighttime activities in a winter wonderland extravaganza.  Here are five reasons why you should don that winter coat and scarf and enjoy a lovely Christmas celebration.

1. Ice Skating

The winter wonderland has a Lycamobile Ice Rink, which has over 100,000 lights.  Those who choose to ice skate can skate in a large rink under a beautifully illuminated sky.  All of the lights above the rink create an enchanting atmosphere perfect for romantic couples or those who love the sparkle.

2.  The Carousal Bar

Why not enjoy a Christmas drink while spinning lightly on a bar turned merry-go-round.  Do not be mistaken.  This is an adult attraction that delivers wild fantasies of drinking while moving very SLOWLY in circles. The carousal bar is certainly a fun yet eccentric stop.

3.  Christmas Shopping

Get some of your Christmas gifts at the Winter Wonderland festivity.  There are Angles and Yuletide markets that offer an assortment of homemade crafts that you won’t find anywhere else.  The markets have jewelry, food, and holiday themed items.

4. The Magical Ice Kingdom

At this attraction, visitors experience a wonderland made entirely of ice.   Individuals can venture into an ice castle and an ice bar while viewing ice made scenes.  The magical kingdom even hosts an ice slide, an ice swan, and a dungeon.  This year, the Magical Ice Kingdom is larger than ever before.
