My name is Paloma Yumi Garcia, CEO of NitaSuri – a luxury handbag brand inspired by famous Spanish artists Salvador Dali and Antoni Gaudi, known for their unique expression of surrealism and modernism, respectively, and proponents of Spanish cultural values. I have a very international background. I was born in Barcelona, and I lived in Japan, Malaysia and South Korea for several years where I experienced living with different cultures and have traveled extensively throughout Asia. Then I moved to the U.S. and lived in New York, before settling down in Los Angeles where I worked at Keiretsu Forum – a large global angel investor network where I developed my skills in entrepreneurship.

During my experience as an Entrepreneur Director, I learned the key essentials on how to run a successful company. Also, I had the privilege to attend many events where I soon realized how many women were interested in my unique NitaSuri handbags, which were designed by my mother – the original designer of the brand. That’s when I realized there was a great need in the luxury handbag market for original, wholly unique designs for women’s handbags.

In 2016, I decided to create my own start up and initiate my own adventure! Not even a year later, NitaSuri is selling in Spain, U.S., Japan, Malaysia and South Korea offering a sustainable line of bags with unique and contemporary interpretations of timeless styles with a high sense of effortless elegance and quality.
