For one of the best restaurants in Seoul with the view of the city, head over to La Yeon on the 23rd floor of Shila Hotel. Expect to be captivated by Namsan Park from above, alongside ten to eleven-course menus that include traditional Korean cuisine, such as: char-grilled Korean ribeye, galbi jjim (braised beef short ribs,) roulade haretail, gomtang (Korean beef soup)…and much more. It’s no doubt that La Yeon is often considered as one of the best restaurants in the world.
Walking on the Cloud
Walking on the Cloud is another lovely restaurant perfect for special occasions, as it overlooks Han River and city center, since it’s located on the top floor of Yeouido’s 63 Square. The restaurant’s interior is modern and luxurious, highlighted by a sophisticated crowd. The menu features European dishes that emphasize both fresh seafood and juicy meats.

MUGUNGHWA
MUGUNGHWA is also a restaurant in Seoul incredibly Instagrammable, since it’s perched on the 38th floor. The menu is rooted in Eastern herbal medicine, creating not only delectable but healthy plates. Hence, integrating modernity and ancient Asian philosophies. Many consider the Skyfarm as one of the most beautiful cafés in Seoul, and it’s not difficult to understand why. Sitting on the 50th floor of FKI Tower, this alluring restaurant’s vista of Han River is just as spectacular as its interior embellished with plants and flowers.
With the aesthetics of a rustic farm, this popular spot includes a greenhouse, solar panels and an indoor garden. Not to mention, several Korean Dramas were filmed here, like “The Secret Life of My Secretary.”

L7 명동 루프탑 바 플로팅 Rooftop Floating

Rooftop Bar Floating in L7 is one of the hotel restaurants in Seoul that showcases a panoramic view of the city without costing an arm and a leg. Despite that it’s been around for awhile, it only recently began to attract trendy crowds that are now making this hotspot a cool place to be.
As one of the largest rooftop bars in the city, it’s also the only one offering foot baths despite that it’s only available during summer months.
Hotel Cappuccino Rooftop Bar
Hotel Cappuccino is another accessible rooftop bar where travelers can admire the sparkling view of Han River and old Nonhyeong-dong district without breaking the bank.
The bar is open from 6 p.m. to 2 p.m. every day, and displays an ultra wide range of gin. The atmosphere is a mix of locals and international visitors, but chill and laidback. It’s surely a cool place to be, for a relaxing evening out with friends.
