Scottish beer manufacturer BrewDog is making waves with their craft beer hotel idea. Last year they launched an Indiegogo campaign to help create a 50-room hotel adjacent to their brewery in Columbus, Ohio.
After a recent acquisition of property in Scotland, they have announced that they will be opening their first beer hotel in earl 2019.
It will be a 26-room hotel named “DogHouse,” and each room will have access to the brewery’s beer straight from a tap. Even the showers will come with built-in fridges so guests can bathe with their favorite brews.
Don’t worry if you’re favorite craft beer isn’t from BrewDog though, the taps will also include beer from some of the brewery’s favorite companies to give customers a wide variety to choose from.
In order to get an inside look into the brewery itself, the hotel will be located at the brewery’s headquarters and the rooms will have windows that overlook the brewery itself do you can get a behind-the-scenes look at how it operates.
If you want to become a co-owner, the brewery is opening up shares to the public through their Equity for Punks crowdfunding initiative.
People in the U.S. needn’t fear if they can’t make it all the way to Scotland, as BrewDog is still planning to open its Ohio property in the second half of 2019.
