L’Arc

Across the street from the Arc de Triomphe is L’Arc, a hip-hop dance club split into three areas with juxtaposing vibes. There’s a lounge with a chic bar, a dance club with live music from famous DJs, and an outdoor terrace for a happy hour with views of the Arc. This neon nightclub with a marble dance floor was designed by legendary American singer Lenny Kravitz. The club Raspoutine is a Russian cabaret with Baroque-style architecture and classy red décor. If it feels exclusive, that’s because it is – celebrities from all over the world from Leonardo DiCaprio to Kanye West have been known to attend parties here. Music by the notable DJ Mika is played throughout to accompany the cabaret performances put on every night. Don’t forget to embrace the Russian bar scene and have a shot of vodka before you leave!

DeFlower is a 70s themed nightclub – think neon lights and vintage microphones hanging from the ceiling – known for its wild VIP after parties. Hotel Costes is located inside of a 19th century townhouse, and despite its low-key social media presence, rooms are always fully booked during fashion week. Even if you can’t manage a room, you may be able to snag a table at the restaurant or bar, which are known to host celebrities from Rihanna to Beyoncé. Restaurant reservations are available to book 48 hours in advance, and it’s open quite late so you can enjoy Baroque style decor and international cuisine before heading over to the bar featuring a different DJ on stage every night.

Girafe Restaurant

Located in the Cité de l’Architecture museum, Girafe offers a cozy reprieve from the city among 1930s inspired décor. Velvet seats and an intricate marble bar create an effortlessly Parisian atmosphere. The menu includes a mix of traditional and modern fare with seafood as the specialty. Situated directly across from the Eiffel Tower, city views don’t get better than the ones at Girafe.

Vetted by the Kardashians themselves, Ferdi is a tiny (only seats 30 people at a time!) family-run restaurant serving up a vast menu full of some of the best comfort food in Paris. It’s no secret that people come here for the deliciously fast food-esque burgers, but only a certain amount are made every night, so you definitely want to stop by on the earlier side if that’s your meal of choice. Even without the signature menu item, Ferdi is well worth a visit, with its vintage toy collection, unpretentious vibe, andt A-lister-studded clientele.

Once a novelty shop named after the two Chinese statues perched inside, the café has an abundance of history within its walls. Today, it’s best known for its famous regulars from Sartre to Picasso who used to spend time there in the 20s, marked by the breakfast options named after the artists who ordered them. Stop by in the morning and get Le Petit Déjeuner Hemingway: fried eggs with bacon or ham, bread and butter, fresh juice, and a plain yogurt or fruit salad. The café is often host to various literary events and even created its own Prix des Deux Magots award, a French literary prize for more unconventional works. Brasserie Lipp

Brasserie Lipp was founded in 1880 and has become a hotspot for tourists due to the rich history of the restaurant and its famous clientele from Hemingway to Cocteau. The restaurant’s ceiling was painted by Charly Garrey, and hand-painted tiles decorate the interior, depicting various plants and wildlife. Brasserie Lipp’s specialty dishes include foie gras and mille-feuille, both mouthwateringly soft and airy in their own ways. Café de Flore

Café de Flore opened in 1887 and quickly became the home base for countless creatives throughout the years. Artists and writers alike would spend entire days here, working and talking until after dark. Known as the birthplace of the Surrealism and Existentialism philosophies, Café de Flore comes with a great deal of cultural significance. This is a place where the ultra-famous mingle with the unknown and the “regulars” don’t consider going anywhere else for their daily dose of pastries and people watching.
