Perruche

Sitting atop the Printemps department store is Perruche, a great location in Opera district popular among shoppers looking for lunch. Perruche means parakeet in English, alluding to the bright yellow cushions and delicate birdcage-like metal chairs that fill the space. The bar offers magnificent views of the Eiffel Tower and superb drinks from outstanding bartender Nico de Sato. Perruche is open every day and is particularly popular in the summer months, when tourists flock to Printemps. Come for the seasonal dishes and bar snacks and stay for the live music and unmatched views.

Le Perchoir

Le Perchoir is the rooftop bar in Paris for trendy drinks and Mediterranean cuisine. There are 6 locations in total, with the most popular being in Ménilmontant and Marais. The Ménilmontant establishment sits on the roof of an old factory and was the first Perchoir to open. You can order delicious bar food and bask in the breathtaking Paris sunset, but make sure to get there early if you want a seat because it fills up fast. The Marais bar is atop the BHV Marais department store, where you’ll have a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Seine River. Live DJs play every night so you can keep the cocktails flowing with some background music to set the mood.

Au Top

Au Top was opened in 2019 by Jean Philippe, owner of Café La Perle and Café Foufou. Here, you can indulge in a 360-degree view of the city any day of the week. World renowned chefs Christophe Rousseau and Loïc Clee serve light Mediterranean dishes Tuesdays through Saturdays, and cocktails and tapas on Sundays and Mondays. The bar’s entrance is a bit hidden, making Au Top an exclusive spot few are lucky enough to stumble upon without being in the know. Breakfast is served starting at 9am on Sundays, and reservations, which are mandatory, and can be made on the bar’s website.

Le Georges

Le Georges is located on the roof of the Centre Georges-Pompidou, with the Musée National d’Art Moderne below. The bar has an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower and a huge menu of French cuisine to order from and enjoy while sipping drinks. DJs play live music on weekends, changing up the usual elegant scene perfect for a for a romantic evening out. Terrass” Hotel

Rife with coziness, sophistication, and lush greenery, Terrass” Hotel is home to the ultimate rooftop bar in Paris. The bar serves traditional French cuisine and 16 signature cocktails to enjoy. Terrass” Hotel has one of the only rooftop bars to stay open all year round because it’s heated and under cover. The space also provides a lot of privacy with hedges surrounding, perfect for get togethers with friends

Hotel National des Arts et Metiers

The Hotel National des Arts et Metiers rooftop bar, AKA the Herbarium, is a small and intimate affair only able to sit about 6-10 people. With an extensive drink menu and renowned mixologist Oscar Quagliarini creating signature cocktails, the bar is a terrific place to relax and let loose. The Herbarium is a botanist’s dream with exotic plants everywhere, and even the menu is tastefully decorated with flora and fauna.

Terrasse d’hôtel Raphael

A welcome reprieve from the bustling city, Terrasse d’hôtel Raphael’s rooftop bar offers relaxation in a chic atmosphere. There’s a menu with delightful bar snacks to pair with your cocktails, and you can even build a bento box for lunch if you’re really hungry. The bar is excellently located right next to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées, so there’s plenty to see and do in the area. The Shed

Part of the experimental cocktail group and designed by Dorthée Meilichzon, The Shed is a certified hidden gem on top of the Grands Boulevards Hotel. Rustic décor and a rooftop garden make this cabana bar a must-stop in Paris. The cocktails here come in 3 categories: non-alcoholic, a bit of alcohol, and a normal amount of alcohol so you can decide what you’re in the mood for. The drink choices also change according to the season meaning there’s always something new to try. The Shed is only open in the spring and summer, and the bar is small, so we advise making reservations if you plan to go.

Le Marta

On the roof of Hôtel Barrière is the intimate rooftop bar Le Marta, boasting trendy décor, live music from popular DJs, and good vibes. The bar is only open during summer months when the weather is nice and doesn’t close until 2am on weekends. Bask in neon signs and swing seats, and share tasty dishes with friends at this swanky location.

43 Cocktail Bar

43 Cocktail is a bar on the roof of the Holiday Inn Paris Notre Dame, an eco-hotel in the heart of the city. The prices are a bit steep, but the view makes it worth every penny. 43 Cocktail is an exceptional choice if you’re looking for a bit of quiet, as it’s usually not too crowded. Here, you can tell the bartender what sort of drinks you like, and they’ll make you something special. The bar is only open in the spring and summer months, but the rooftop is accessible all year round for world class views off the city below.
