White Horse Pub – the standby

Located in the town of St. Georges, this pub is one of the oldest in all of Bermuda. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and packed with rich history. Outdoor seating is right on the water, with a view so perfect you can see fish weaving around docked sailboats. If you’re looking for a view of the game, the indoor sports bar is your place to be. The menu is extensive, with options ranging from bar and pub all the way to seafood. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. When I ate at White Horse, the waiter gave us bread to feed the fish. If you’re lucky enough, they might do the same for you.
The Swizzle Inn – island favorite
3 Blue Hole Hill, Hamilton, Bermuda

If you want to eat like a local, be sure to visit The Swizzle Inn. Home to Bermuda’s famous “Rum Swizzle,” this place is a requirement for any self-proclaimed foodie. Located in Bailey’s Bay, the pub centers countless attractions, including: Crystal Caves and Bermuda Aquarium. The ambiance is relaxed and casual, if not a little kitschy. Its menu offers an array of options from homestyle barbeque to finger foods, burgers to sandwiches. At the bar, you can find Bermuda’s “national drink”: a delicious concoction of Black and Gold Seal rum with orange, pineapple and lemon juices, combined together with various fruit liqueurs.
Sea Breeze at Elbow Beach Resort – fine dining
60 South Shore, Elbow Beach, Sea Terrace, Paget PG 04, Bermuda

This lavish resort integrates three different dining experiences. The finest by far is Sea Breeze, an outdoor restaurant featuring a spectacular view of the beach. This dining spot, located on the resort’s open-air terrace, offers a panoramic view of the sparkling water. It’s perfect for enjoying cocktails and aperitif under the stars. The ambiance in Sea Breeze is elegant and formal, so be sure to dress appropriately. It serves a considerable selection of tapas and sushi. Most dishes are seafood-based, and extremely fresh. One of its specialties is the Bermuda Fish Chowder, which is made with black rum and sherry pepper.
Boundary Bar & Grill at the Fairmont – for the game

This luxury sports bar is set atop the Turtle Hill Golf Club, with a picturesque view of the ocean below. It features bold and artisanal bar foods, as well as an extensive list of cocktails. The atmosphere is neat, clean and smart-casual. NFL, golf and NHL games are habitually played, they can be viewed from any corner of the restaurant. Boundary is within walking distance of the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse and the Bermuda Railway Trail.
Flanagan’s – night on the town
69 Front St, Hamilton, Bermuda

Located in Hamilton, this Irish pub provides a friendly atmosphere. It has been awarded The Bermudians “Best of Bermuda” over several consecutive years. Outdoor tables on the balcony come with a great view of the waterfront, in addition to prime seating above Harbour Nights on Front Street. The menu mixes bar and grill foods to traditional Irish and seafood plates.
