Just a few options for this summer that aren’t Hawaii or Mexico!

1. A Cruise to Alaska
Alaskan cruises are growing in popularity due to the amazing, and unique scenery that they offer. Why in the summer? Because the weather is just a little better. Trust me, you will enjoy the wildlife, rainbows, and glaciers more when you are not completely freezing on deck!
2. The Galapagos
The Galapagos are an archipelago in Ecuador with some of the most beautiful nature reserves open to the public. The beaches and creatures alike make this vacation perfect for families and friends. With many animals going extinct, the Galapagos are beginning to become more frequently visited – don’t miss your chance to visit this summer!
3. A Concert Series in NYC
We’ve all heard of the famous NBC summer concert series, but now is your chance to create your own! Rent an apartment or an Airbnb in NYC with some friends for a week or two and map out all the concerts, shows, and festivals you want to attend in that time. Centrally located for perfect summer day trips (like a quick drive to Newport, RI or the Cape), New York is the perfect place to park it and create a home for a fun-filled and memorable summer.
4. Buenos Aires, Argentina
Besides the incredible food (empanadas, alfajores, and endless amount of Dulce de Leche,) Argentina has some incredible gifts to offer the eager traveler. The perfect combination of beautiful beaches, rich scenery, and a place that’s dripping with culture, Argentina is a must-see this summer or any time of the year. Just a warning, keep in mind that our summer is their winter so July is a great time to sight-see and do more of the adventure-seeking activities offered in Argentina. You might get a few beach days in but it probably will not be the focus of the trip.
5. A Road Trip (through the Grand Canyon!)
All you have to do is Google search images of the Grand Canyon to see why this trip is so appealing. Arizona is a place filled with turquoise, legends, tales, and of course, astounding natural beauty. Take your California roadtrip a little farther south (maybe through Nevada if you’re feeling ambitious?) and don’t forget to take your water with you! Also, Sedona, Arizona is a great place to stay for a night or two!
