It’s pretty epic.

Let’s at least wait until the hotel finishes construction. Hôtel des Horlogers is located in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux. The new 7,000 square meter lodge contains a five-level external ski path that you will be allowed to ski down. Pretty epic.

Vallée de Joux is situated in the Jura Mountains and continues into France. It’s 30 miles north of Geneva and northwest of Lausanne, its mean elevation is over 3,300 feet. There are three Swiss lakes here: the lac de Joux, the lac Brenet, and Lake Ter.

Copenhagen’s Bjarke Ingels Group is designing the luxury hotel, it’s also the designer behind Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet’s workshop in Le Brassus. Inside the hotel, there will be a watch museum: Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet, which you can ski to as well.

The hotel building’s exterior will have ramps for guests to ski down, via a topographically suited path leading to local ski trails at the bottom. You can also ski into the hotel’s bar or spa located on various levels.

Inside the hotel are sloping corridor mirrors that connect guest rooms, two restaurants, a bar, a spa, and a conference center. The opening date has yet to be announced but skiing in the Swiss Alps just got way more posh.
