Layovers are tiring, for those who can’t wait for this route to begin, you might have to wait just a little bit more until March 2018.

This service will be at least daily, carrying 236 passengers over 9,009 miles. Between the two cities will require 17 hours in air, making it the third-longest flight in the world. Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said:

When Qantas created the Kangaroo Route to London in 1947, it took four days and nine stops. Now it will take just 17 hours from Perth non-stop. Australians have never had a direct link to Europe before, so the opportunities this opens up are huge.

Price of the service has yet to be announced, but this route is sure a game changer and a time saver!
