Launched earlier this summer, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is proof that black is beautiful, especially if you want to channel the streets of Rome in stylish vroom.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the giant fashion house, this sleek vespa was developed by Armani and Piaggio. Even the name was no coincidence, as Vespa 946 indicates 1946 – the year Piaggio’s legendary scooter was made.
Armani’s iconic black embodies tints of grey and green under certain light angles. The metal parts were produced by galvanic process with a satin finish, and an opaque touch to synchronize the entire body of the vehicle. Armani’s logo is branded right above the headlight, just in case the vespa itself isn’t already enough of a statement.
With Aluminium cylinder blocks, top-notch accessories and brown-leather seat, Vespa 946 is also technologically equipped with innovative engine power. Its electronic riding controls entail Internet capabilities, along with four-stroke electronic injection engine which boosts fuel economy with nominal emissions.
The combination of a two-channel ABS braking system, a 220 mm double disc brake, and sizable 12 inch wheels allows city slickers to zip through European alleys in total safety.
We think there’s no better, or hotter, way to traverse through Italy. Ciao!
