Taiwan has always been one of my favorite places to visit. But I’ve always tended to be captivated by the vibrant life of Taipei and unable to venture out much past the city.I’ve heard so many rumors of the friendly and hospitable people of southern Taiwan that I finally made my journey to Tainan recently. Steeped with history and culture that only southern Taiwan can offer, Tainan is the oldest city in Taiwan. With its strong traditional food and culture, it’s not too hard to see why the city is called Kyoto of Taiwan.
