The idea of the grand bingo hall is outdated these days. Nowadays, we all have a little more taste when it comes to what we do for fun and games, and that’s extending to the traditionally old-fashioned world of bingo as well.
It comes as no surprise that many casinos are rebranding bingo’s image, in particular for the next generation of bingo players and games. You don’t need to stay local to play this beloved pastime, and you don’t need to be a senior, either. In fact, sometimes, you can replace the bingo halls of yesteryear, and play in the comfort of your own home, office or even during your daily commute! Picture this: you’re in your newly decorated apartment, complete with fresh flowers with a view over the ocean, and you’re playing lucky numbers bingo at William Hill and not a single other person is in sight!
Of course, broadening your horizons in the real world is still a distinct possibility; because the bingo halls you can actually visit have had something of a makeover.
Bingo halls are hosting all kinds of awesome events and it’s not just happening here in the US; the Brits are pretty much leading the pack. They’ve got this awesome concept called Bongo’s Bingo, which started in Liverpool (yep, where The Beatles are from), and they’ve taken their rave/bingo experience around the country to some of the nation’s biggest clubs. Yes, that means cool, hip venues, which are most typically used for bands to play in or to host cool events. Take Camp & Furnace, for example. It’s got tons of space, a vintage, rustic appeal, and plenty of awesome lights to get the party started in between games!
Of course, it makes sense that bingo works in such a seemingly random location. In fact, when you’re hosting an event to cater to millennials, and indeed looking at the setting for such an event, you need to take into account what they’re actually into. Camp & Furnace, our British example, is an already established ‘cool’ place with a reputation for hosting awesome events. It stands to reason, then, that their bingo night would be a success and it surely was! Millennials are looking for something fresh and something new, and that’s exactly what it was able to offer in this space.
Of course, Liverpool doesn’t just have bingo at its heart. If it’s your thing, you’ll find plenty of it, but you’ll also be able to indulge in The Beatles to your heart’s content. Liverpool offers The Beatle’s Story, in addition to plenty of world-class museums, restaurants and clubs. The nightlife as a whole is fascinating, and very cheap compared to other parts of the UK, too.

Of course, when a lot of people think of casinos, they think of Las Vegas, and it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine the strip hosting some awesome bingo as well. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is supposed to play host to some of the coolest bingo games around, and it has everything you could possibly imagine.
If you’re looking for a hobby vacation a bit closer to home, this could be ideal. From a spa to various suites and plenty of food and dining options, you can kiss any thoughts of a dull and boring room goodbye! There are plenty of other awesome bingo events across the country, too. From cruise ships to old breweries, there’s sure to be a bingo game going on in a place you had never imagined before.
