Potato Head is a world-famous club brand and its headquarters in Bali is the most well-known location. Potato Head Beach Club on the glitzy shores of Seminyak sets a high standard for what a swanky beach club should be with 3 restaurants, 2 bars and world-class talent.

The sweeping art installation of vintage window panes on the side of the building, meant to resemble the Coliseum, makes Potato Head Beach Club the crown jewel of Seminyak. From the beach you step onto the deck and you’re in an upscale tropical paradise with pools, fountains, lounge chairs, multiple bars and swanky tables. During the day you can get lunch and classy entrees next to the beach while enjoying the infinity pool.
Above the ground floor is the club, cased in all glass and overlooking the ocean. Superstar performances are regular happenings at Potato Head Beach Club with Grace Jones, Mark Ronson and Rudimental from just this year alone.
If you’re looking to splurge and live it up one fine night in Bali, you know where to go.

Finn’s Beach Club

Finn’s Beach Club also sets a high standard as far as classy beach clubs go. Finn’s Beach Club is shaped like a large, airy cabana and is located on the chiller shores of Canggu. It’s always brightly lit and welcoming with sexy house music bumping to lure you in.
Inside you’ll find a heavenly infinity pool that looks like an extension of the ocean. From here you can swim up to the bar for drinks or get a table facing the ocean for a nice meal. If you wish to chill on Berawa Beach right outside, you can pay for a day bed on the sand starting at 250,000 IDR with minimum spending.

Finn’s offers a more relaxed atmosphere while maintaining style and accessible luxury.

La Laguna

La Laguna is a magical, low-key beachfront venue with a quieter, subdued ambience. The concept is tropical boho and rustic chic gypsy. It’s a place every gypsy and bohemian dreams of with big patchwork cushions, colorful textiles and treehouses with thatched bamboo rooftops. Everything about the design is lovely and you can’t help but want to spend hours lounging on the grass.

Rather than big parties, this place is ideal for a nice dinner and the best sunset drinks.

Old Man’s Bali

Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong, Kuta Utara, Canggu, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia (map, website)

Old Man’s is a local favorite in Canggu and is a lot more laidback and casual than the others on the list. Located on Batu Bolong Beach, Old Man’s is always packed with surfers, backpackers and locals enjoying Bintangs and hanging out. Wild Wednesday is the day to be at Old Man’s. Everybody and their mamas pack into the bar to dance the night away to hip-hop, house music or whatever the DJ has in store for the week. It’s lively every other day of the week as well with live music on Fridays and more dancing on Sunday.

Single Fin

Pantai Suluban, Jl. Labuan Sait, Uluwatu, Kuta Selatan, Pecatu, Kuta Sel., Bali, Indonesia (map, website)

Single Fin is a surfer bar located on top of cliffs, where you can party above a breathtaking ocean view. Since it’s in the quiet southern town of Uluwatu, Single Fin is more flip flops and beer than high heels and champagne.
This bar has 3 levels with outdoor decks on each where you can dance, drink and mingle.

With some one of the best views in Bali, Single Fin is unsurprisingly packed every day during sunset. Single Fin Sundays is the ultimate rager that can’t be missed. People from around the island come to catch live acts and dance to sexy house and funk music while hovering over the ocean.
