When entering Camden Market, you are greeted by a series of booths creating a maze that would put the Queen of Heart’s Labyrinth to shame.

With the lines of countless sellers yelling at you to buy their handmade goods or British memorabilia, it is hard not to feel like Alice in Wonderland. And no matter what part of the maze you are in, the attitude is clearly displayed through the sarcastic, risqué T-shirt slogans, colorful patterns, and multicultural shops.
Not only can you find unique trinkets at Camden Market, but food from every country as well. From three British pastries for one pound to a massive box of Tandoori Chicken for three pounds, Camden Market offers a diverse range of food for a price that will make your credit card sigh in relief. Be warned though, these merchants are aggressive, luring you in with free samples to insist you order from them. However, it is all more than worth it when you find that one dish you’ve been craving, and can comfortably sit on a chair shaped like the back of a motorcycle and enjoy the view of the river.

Although you can easily spend days exploring every crevice of the Camden market, the surrounding area is worth a look. There you can find a mixture of high end luxury brands between authentic punk rocker stores. As you walk down the street, there are displays of dragons and vampires protruding from walls, only to be complimented by the numerous people walking around in authentic Goth outfits. London is filled with many areas to go shopping, but if you want to go somewhere with spunk, Camden Market is a must see.
